Bug Description

I'm using Ubuntu 10.10. When I launch Tux Paint, my monitor displays "Out of Range" when I launch it inside Qimo (xfce). When I switch to the Gnome desktop on the same machine, I can launch Tux Paint and have no problem. Any ideas?

I'm running Ubuntu 10.10 with Qimo installed, with Tux Paint 1:0.9.21-1ubuntu2, and Qimo 2.0.0.

Tux Paint will try to re-size your screen to 800x600 when run in
full-screen mode, you can try running it in windowed mode.

Thank you for your prompt reply, and sorry for my delay in responding.

I didn't realize that there was a Tux Paint configuration utility. I determined the resolution of the monitor on the system, then set Tux Paint to open at that size in the configuration utility, and it worked fine.

It seems like this should be automatic. Would there be a way for Tux Paint in Qimo to by default open at the resolution that the system is set at (in full screen mode)? This would friendlier for parents with limited computer skills.

Thanks for Qimo! My kids are loving it, and learning a lot from it.
