can't install on harddrive from dvd

Used the puredyne-1010-gazpacho-DVD-i386-alpha4.iso seemed to run OK as a Live DVD. So tried to install on my harddrive

It went through the usual set of Ubuntu questions and then started installing

 - Reformated harddrive,
 - copied the files goto about 90%

Came with a GUI message about the installer crashing and some comments about raising a bug report at launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubitiquity/+filebug and should attach information from /var/log/syslog and /var/log/partman

I have a copy of partman log file

Tried it a second time and I had exactly the same problem

Just tried puredyne-1010-gazpacho-CD-i386-alpha4.iso and I get the same thing.

Attached is a copy partman file from the DVD installation

Tried puredyne-1010-gazpacho-DVD-i386-beta.iso and now installs to the hard disk OK
