[feature request] Alignment : fill without catching clicks outside icons

I see this more like a feature ( a checkbox in the configuration window ? ) than a bug, but it could be useful to be able to have a full width screen-side trigger of the icons bar, without, on the other hand, that the invisible bar catches the the clicks when deployed on the full width of the screen, preventing clicks in the bottom part of the windows behind the transparent bar.
