Bug Description

Linux Mint 16 with Chrome browser. Screensaver activates automatically while watching netflix, anyway to get around this without using caffeine?

Hi,

disabling the screensaver in fullscreen is not yet supported. This is most probably a missing feature in Wine.

I suspect this will only be useful to those with ATI/AMD graphics, but I just switched from using the open-source drivers to the Catalyst driver (in an attempt to resolve other issues) and noticed that a side effect was that full-screen flash now prevents the display from sleeping. I haven't tested with Silverlight yet, but will soon.

Actually, the behaviour is a bit odd - I think everything in the system except for the Windows Flash plugin continues to behave as though the display has gone to sleep, while Flash continues to run on top of this. The moment a show ends, the display immediately goes to sleep, and if I exit full screen, I get back to the desktop for a split second and then the screen goes blank, but turns back on as soon as I move the mouse.
