in crunchbang, using sid repo.
music started up, at full volume, when i was still in menu having set it to off. it stayed off for a minute or two. i tehn set it to lowest setting, but after playing for a few levels, the music started up in the middle of playing a level.
had vlc, audacity, lmms, hydrogen and pidgin also running. just pidgin and vlc making sound at the time.

Hi, I can't reproduce them.
I use 0.7.6.1-
I have off music in Pingus and music stay off also playng levels.
I have try play video in vlc, music in audacity and pingus; all sound togheder and I see it in pulse apps.
Can you try pingus in my PPA?
