Conversion to element removes arc

Bug Description

I am trying to make a footprint and it *must* include a circle. I tried using 4 90deg arcs. It copied it into buffer correctly I believe but the arcs did not survive conversion to element. I tried both 20100929 and a copy from git that was cloned today.

PS. I can draft the symbol as a pin and then remove the whole when I go to make my gerber file but that does not solve the bug.

If you mean copper arcs, they're not supported in footprints. Sorry.

Ok. I guess this can be closed then. Are copper arcs not allowed because the code to automatically handle the solder mask above them is not available or is it something else?

Copper arcs in footprints aren't supported because nobody's bothered to add support for them, that's all.

This is pretty important, for example with lots of MEMS mics which need a non-plated hole in the middle of a pad, with some clearance around the hole.
