Bug Description
Python 2.7 (the last Python 2.x version) was End-of-Life on 1-Jan-2020, which is almost two years ago as of today (26-Nov-2021).
Recommend dropping stated support for Python 2.7 in setup.cfg and anywhere else it states that Python 2 is supported.
Would also be nice to say that it supports Python 3.8, 3.9, and 3.10 (if it does).
