Bug Description
steps to reproduce:
1. CTRL + C a password (selected text) in KeePass2 (.Net App using Mono)
2. CTRL + V in Terminal
expected behavior:
copied text is pasted
actual behavior:
^V is inserted
i think it is not a KeePass2 bug because i have no problems pasting in Scretch or other text editors. but i have also no problems to paste texts copied in browsers for example.
workaround:
to copy the username or password to the cripboard you can double click on the field in KeePass2. that can be pasted in the Terminal
to copy something from the notes you actually have to post it somewhere else first.

I'm a KeePass2 user and my two cents on researching this is that this is a bug in Mono library (which KeePass2 uses in Linux port).

Proper workaround for this Mono bug affecting KeePass is: ctrl+v in KeePass2; ctrl+shift+insert then Enter in terminal. This works like a charm for me.
This ticket should probably be closed as I don't think it's a bug with terminal.
