When emptying trash, dialog is stuck at "Preparing"

Bug Description

Just as in the title. The dialog which opens when emptying the trash is stuck at "preparing", even though files do seem to get deleted, so it clearly makes progress.

Also occurs when deleting large files on a smb server.

The message "Preparing to move files" is rather misleading because any files that can be moved without copy and delete are moved during this phase.

This will be fixed after changes to progress notification that are being made are merged.
