Bug Description

i as a mac user miss the status bar from the finder.

you see very fast how much disk space is left and how much items are in a folder.

Yeah i miss that too on a daily basis.

A floating status bar like the one from Nautilus would be enough.

I think it would probably be annoying to show this information always. Maybe as a compromise we could use the overlay bar to show this information when hovering sidebar items as well. So for example as the overlay bar shows usage information about folders it could show the disk information when hovering a disk
