Bug Description

Hi all,
I have installed Openshot on Manjaro Linux (derivated from Archlinux) but already configured.
I have checked the title animated 3D and I have been surprised to have the usual warning box saying me that Blender was not installed. After verification, this one is installed.
I can run it typing in a console the usual path i.e. /sur/bin/blender.
I have modified it in Preferences however I get always the warning box.

@Jonathan
Neverless, I am not able to determine if this is due to a configuration issue either due to the last version (i.e 2.6.7) which brings us some actual issues because they have changed their Python API.
You should take a look like you are making the patch for the next 1.4.4. At first look, it is not only for 13.04.
To my side, I'm going to look near the French Forum if it is my fault or not.

Thanks.

I find same problem.
I revolve problem with changing setting from blender interface.
For me the translation of blender is the problem.

File>User Preferences...

Chose "system" configuration.

From "International Fonts" unselect "New Data"

After this, my openshot working wel :-)

Missing from python scipt openshot Dissolving and Exploding text command

bpy.context.user_preferences.system.use_translate_new_dataname = False

With testing bpy.context.user_preferences.system.use_international_fonts is true.

Of course the state of bpy.context.user_preferences.system.use_translate_new_dataname is saved before, and restoring at the end of running plugin :-)
