Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org-base

ubuntu 8.04
1:2.4.1-ubuntu2.1
openoffice 2.4.1
oobase
opened a table and designated ID as a primary integer autoincremented field
Did not expect to be able to edit the value
Went in to edit the table and the ID field while listed as an integer indicates an integer length of 0 instead of the original 10.

rebooted etc., no change
deleted table and tried again, same issue.

I switched to Access database so don't know if the problem still occurs.

[This is an automated message.]
There are no new official OpenOffice.org releases in Ubuntu packaging anymore => Won't Fix

If the problem persists, please mark this bug as "also affects project Libreoffice" or "also affects distribution Libreoffice (Ubuntu)" if that has not happened already.

Please leave references to upstream OpenOffice.org bugs in place to allow cross pollination.

Thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu. This Ubuntu release has reached EOL for Desktops.

Since this bug hasn't been touched in a while and the Incomplete autoclose didn't work, I'm going to close it.

If you can still reproduce on a new version of Ubuntu, please reopen it.
