Binary package hint: openoffice.org
When you right-click a frame in OpenOffice 2.4.0, access the frame properties, and click on the macro-tab, you are lost in a dialogue telling you to install openoffice.
I tried to install openoffice.

Did it work after openoffice. org-java- common was installed and the program run again? You have to restart openoffice.org after installing that package for it to take effect. The fact that it crashes without the java packages installed probably can't really be fixed.
