If Hungarian translation is selected as UI language, date field won't validate (even if filled in automatically by the form).
This was just annoying if there weren't date fields involved that are not displayed on the UI (in this case: ticket creation date).
After editing the date field content, it is possible to save the ticket (as new). Editing and then saving the same ticket later, however, is blocked by the "invalid" hidden date field.
