Hello Harmel,
You can see the list of leave requests of current employees in the said list view because there is a button called "My Leaves" just next to the Employee field. It is by default selected when you open the Leave Requests and thus you can see the filtered list of leave requests of current employee.
Indicating the current employee in Employee field is not possible right now as there is no convention of levelling of fields to pass the default values in search view.
