Bug Description
When I enter '\' in the search field of Touchscreen POS, it shows client error.
OpenERP Client error
Uncaught SyntaxError: Invalid regular expression: /([0-9]+):.*?\/: \ at end of pattern

I have checked your issue with laest trunk as well as with 7.o with backslash as you said in your description. But instead of your client error I am facing this :
SyntaxError: trailing \ in regular expression localhost: 8069/web/ webclient/ js?db=db_ 25:5780

So, for this traceback I am confirming this issue. But for your error would you please try it again and provide me your confirmation.
