Can't open form view of o2m fields with editable tree

Bug Description

When a o2m field is defined with a default view that is an editable tree view, there is no way for users to open the form view.
It would be useful since form views commonly contain more fields that would clutter the tree view.

Yes, I am agree with you regarding open form view when o2m field in editable tree. Also form contain more fields then it's more user friendly for the user to fill up it accordingly.

It needed lot of changes regarding the suggestion what you suggested in bug specification. I think this is critical issue it's new improvement so we will consider this issue as future road map that's why currently I am setting this issue as wishlist.

Hello.

It is a bug - because it was available in v6.1 and it was so used for a lot of community developments and features already working.

I just want to confirm:

1.- It is a wishlist in the roadmap marked as Important and Critical?

or

2.- It is a feature than if nobody else complain ans scream you will forget?

IMHO it can be developed, and need to be developed to complain several useability needs in actual stable version....

Two more questions:

1.- It will be available JUST in trunk?

2.- It will be backported?
