No way to add dependent objects

Bug Description
I have information about customers and their addresses. These should map into the Partner and Partner Address objects. In order to do this, I would create a Partner object and then use the Partner id when creating the Partner Address.
However, I can't currently do this, as there's no way to retrieve the ID of the created Partner object.
