Onboard and Cinnamon Desklets don't play well with each other

Bug Description
I'm running LMDE 6 with Cinnamon 5.8.4 DE
On my desktop I have 2 Cinnamon Desklets, Mintoo and the Desktop Calculator in the bottom right corner.
When I start Onboard and any part of it overlaps any part of the Desklets they sort of "compete" for attention. Meaning I have the Desklets to the right bottom of the screen and that renders the parts of the "X" button, "Abc", "123", config, backspace, del and half of Enter useless. However neither do the Desklets react to input, be it with the mouse or the touchscreen.
Is there any way to move Onboard on top of everything so I can still have my Desklets at the spot I'm used to but also have Onboard functionality? I already tried "always on top" in Onboard to no avail.
Of course I can always remove the Desklets since they're not vital but it would be nice if they'd played together nicely...
The Conky I have in the upper right corner has no impact on Onboard when OB overlaps it.
