Bug Description

I am running an HP G60-468CA with an integrated nvidia GPU/MCP78S controller bridge with maverick beta 10.10 amd64.

When normally installing the dri experimentals or simply installing nvidia-current via jockey-gtk or through synaptic, the PCI-E bridge functionnalities are enabled thus providing all hardware functions linked to the bridge (i.e wireless ethernet) without restarting the system.

When going through the same procedure on maverick amd64, the hardware fails to comply (graphics and other functionnalities), thus leaving me with a half working system.

I can only run through wired ethernet to get Web and LAN access.

When I type up lspci -v the terminal outputs that all MCP linked modules are setup, in use and active, including the wireless Athers AR928XX using ath9k module.

I have no idea how to solve this issue...

May I also add that integrating some kind of separate firmware/driver wrapper for atheros AR928xx would be great, thus enabling the use of DRI-Experimental packaging ("Gallium3D") without nvidia binary, accomplishing the non-ugly full KMS boot splash.
