Bug Description
I have the display connected using component video dongle YPbPr to 32 inch high definition television (Sceptre Komodo x32gv). Ubuntu detects it as an unknown monitor. Component video quality is much better than vga. The installer fails due to included technical info. After rebooting I am atleast capable of a 1024x768 resolution but only in blue and white. Adjusting the color setting does not change anything except the brightness. I made attempts to use other versions included in "restricted drivers" only to get the same issue.

This bug report was filed against an old version of Ubuntu.
Can you confirm whether this is still an issue in natty?
If you don't mind, it would be very helpful if you could update the bug
report in launchpad to 'Fix Released' if it is no longer an issue for
you, or if it is still occurring under natty, please tag the bug 'natty'
so it's easier for us to track.
