Bug Description
I have been unable to install to a usb stick to create a live system from within the 8.12 beta nubuntu.
The software is version 1 and It is over USB 1.0
I can mount the usb stick fine, it hangs about 60-65% of the way through copying /cdrom/casper.
I tested it with the option combinations:
persistant and adobe flash.
persistant
My nubuntu release is 8.12 (20091209.5)
I am able to use unetbootin to turn the ISO into a bootable USB, and this works fine, this implies that it is not the usb stick nor the USB 1.0 ports, I booted the usb on a different computer from the one I made it on, if that makes any difference.
I am now testing it with no options and will add the results in afterwards.

As I posted the above bug report I started it to create a bootable USB with no options (no persistance and no adobe) and the process bar for copying /cdrom/casper is about 45-50% and it was like that 15 mins ago, but the light on my usb is flashing as is the light on my laptop indicating media access (but its not CD as the cd light is not flashing) so as far as I can tell, something is doing something xP
Albeit very slowly.
For the record, when it hung during the persistant home option, neither the usb nor media light were flashing.
I'll get back when I know more,
Ducky.
