Bug Description

During an automated test run of Focal Yoga OpenStack release, the Tempest validation testing failed because the test for tempest.api.compute.volumes.test_attach_volume.AttachVolumeTestJSON failed with the following traceback:

Current status: SHUTOFF. Current task state: None.

This was the only Tempest test that failed. Other Tempest tests completed successfully.

@Jadon Naas Thanks for the report. The link to the logs are time out. So I'm closing this as incomplete. If the issue is still visible then please reopen it. In general please try collect more specific logs from the issue before reporting it to help us triaging it. E.g. you can grep for the server uuid in the nova logs, check the last request from tempest / rally and grep for the request id in the logs.
