Bug Description
With changes to Android 5.0 lollipop, root no longer functions correctly. This is due to updates to SELinux policies in Android for 5.0 and onwards.
Issue will need to be fixed by Koush in his Superuser app, or require distributing a device-specific boot.img with SELinux set to permissive mode. This has obvious negative security implications along with maintenance load of updating all of these images for each supported device.

"Just a heads up since people are asking... I'm waiting for my Nexus 6 to arrive before proceeding with Superuser updates... In the meantime, I'm using the new Android support libraries to also give it a UI refresh."
So, it shouldn't be too long. Hopefully by release of 4.0
