Bug Description

There is currently no way for users to easily navigate Back, Forward, Home, or to refresh the page being displayed while browsing for content. Netflix's own site doesn't cater well to returning you to where you just were with the standard Firefox browser bar hidden.

I understand wanting to hide the fact that this is just Firefox running, but I think at least some navigation buttons could be included to help users navigate the site. Luckily Firefox is very customizable and its fairly trivial to add some navigation buttons.

I'm including a screenshot of how I have my installation setup. Hopefully this configuration can be added to the official version. It adds much needed navigation options, while still keeping the address bar hidden.

I'm planning on revising the custom plugin to create a one-pixel high horizontal bar at the top of the screen that when you mouse-over it it will expand a menu with these types of options. What do you think?

I think that would work as as solution, but wouldn't it just be easier and cleaner to let Firefox handle all of that? Currently the overlay plugin also sometimes gets in the way of the website navigation. This is okay with just the close button, but add home, forward and back buttons to it and it could take up too much space.

The other benefit to just letting Firefox handle it is that "personas" (the build in Firefox themes) can be used to make the navigation bar match the window managers theme.

Here is what it can look like a native app running in Ubuntu by using the Personas theme feature. The theme I used is the "Ubuntu Lucid - Ambience". I also added a full screen toggle button. I think it provides a cleaner solution than using a custom plugin to accomplish the same thing.

Also, I realize that this next issue deserves it own bug, but would it be possible to turn on the font smoothing in wine?
