No way to customize the launchers in the 'Favorites'

They can't be customized either by right-clicking on them, nor by using the menu editor.

Can you please clarify what you would expect to be able to customize here? It doesn't look like any of the launchers can be customized, not just the ones in favorites. Thanks!

I don't think this is the same issue as Bug #424822 which deals with netbook-launcher icon changes not being reflected in Favorites. As a matter of fact, this bug report really needs to be clarified because you can, in fact, change the icons in the launcher using menu editor. These changes do appear under the original sub-menu, just not in Favorites. The original bug reporter does not specify where he/she expected these changes to appear.
