Bug Description
Binary package hint: nanny
This happened in Lucid as well. If left unattended, all ram (1GB on this Compaq D310 2.4GHz system) and all swap will be used up in a matter of minutes. According to System Monitor, the process with the leak is twistd.
The installation was made using wubi.
My laptop suffers the same fate with Lucid (the dependencies are compatible if using maverick's nanny). This is a 2.6GHz Celeron with Intel i8 graphics and suffers from kslowd wrecking video & audio playback if I install maverick. It's a dual boot system.
lspci of the Compaq gives:

All packages on the system were updated before I installed nanny. nanny.nbl was downloaded today from Gnome Nanny. dmesg.txt below is from the Compaq.
