Debut albums end up with an unknown artist

Bug Description

Not the best summary in the world, but this is what actually happens: If a band names their album after themselves (which often happens for debut albums) Music will not recognise artist or album.

Take, for example, a song from the first album of the Rolling Stones:

Title: Route 66
Artist: The Rolling Stones
Album: The Rolling Stones

It will end up as:

Title: Route 66
Artist: Unknown Artist
Album: Unknown Album

EDIT: I can reproduce this behaviour with two different albums, but now I found one where this is not happening. The only difference I can find is that the songs that are NOT discovered correctly, have NO cover artwork in the file.

Music has recognised the albums now. I don't know what caused the delay. I guess this can be closed as invalid.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.

I wonder if the mediascanner2 service got stuck or was taking a long time to extract the metadata, as the issue has resolved itself I will mark this bug as invalid.

But please report a new bug if this happens again, some logs that maybe useful if it does:
/home/phablet/.cache/upstart/mediascanner-2.0.log
/home/phablet/.cache/upstart/*com.ubuntu.music*.log

Changed in music-app:
status: New → Invalid
