Bug Description

When used with xcompmgr (in my case started with -F argument) its impossible to work with musca. Windows lose focus and cant get refocused again without switching groups. Video of the issue is included.

What you actually see:

1 top window and 2 terminals beneath are created. Then switching between them with mod+c. switching between top window and down window (you can see the lower window not getting focus). Then trying to click it with mouse - no result.

In the end i type exit in the terminal (which is invisible) to close the window. This also happens with popups and e.g. closed mplayer videos (leave an unusable terminal behind).

xcompgr is unsupported so far, and low priority since eye candy is not really our focus. Let's keep this bug report open for the future.

Changed in musca:
assignee: nobody → Sean Pringle (sean-pringle)
importance: Undecided → Wishlist
status: New → Confirmed

Same happens here, though I can usually work around the problem by changing the unresponsive window's frame geometry. I noticed that I can still pass commands to an unresponsive Vimperator (closing a Vimperator window with ZZ still works, all webpages are still being displayed, I could even hear the sound of a youtube video playing), and keys I pressed in an unresponsive terminal were there after changing its frame geometry (e.g. the output of an ls command).
