Open ID auth doesn't work for URLs with spaces

Bug Description

If you go to a page wiki.canonical.com that has a space in the URL (for example: https://wiki.canonical.com/Marketing/Launches/Mar18%209.04%20Meeting ) and you're not logged in then hitting the login button gives you an error after the browser is refreshed a couple of times (but before getting sent over to launchpad).
