AnyData ADU-510A, worked in jaunty, does not work in karmic

Bug Description

Ok, so I have AnyData ADU-510A CDMA 3G modem.

All worked perfect with previous versions so I suppose it should be a simple bug.
kppp and other simple dialers (gnome ppp) work great with the modem, no special setup needed.

I have the same problem with Anydata ADU-E100 (called Anydata D-10 in skandinavia)
