Bug Description
Status bar buttons (network applet, for example) have background images that are obtained from the curent theme directory.
When the curret gtk theme changes (via gconf > xsettings, these buttons lose their existing background images and the background become white.
The background images need to be redrawn using images derived from the new theme.
(This may be a duplicate of 225235, but I am not sure, so I am entering it to be certain it is identified and addressed. See that bug for more details on changing the theme dynamically at run time.)
