Bug Description

Hallo,

Ich habe mir mixxx installiert was zu nächst auch fubktionierte. Doch nach der letzten aktualisierung versagt das Progamm seinen dienst. Das deutsche Kubuntu-Forum konnte mir beim ersten aufgetauchten Fehler helfen doch leider nun aber nicht mehr. Da mein englisch dürftig ist konnte ich mir auf der Mixxx Seite keinen Rat holen daher auf diesem Weg.

Aus der log datei ist leider noch nicht erkennbar warum mixxx abstürtzt. Wenn du noch eine
backtrace erstellen kannst und hier postest würde das sehr helfen.

Um die backtrace zu erstellen, alle Zeilen mit einem '->' voran müssen im Terminal eingegeben werden
-> gdb mixxx
es kann sein das du gdb erst über die packetverwaltung installieren musst (-> sudo apt-get gdb)
-> run
warte bis mixxx abstürtzt
-> thread apply all backtrace

Das erzeugt eine längere Ausgabe in der steht warum mixxx abstürtzt.

Aus interesse bei welchem anderen fehler konnte dir den das Kubuntu-Forum helfen?

Hi Laura,

es wäre sehr hilfreich, wenn Du uns in jedem Fall wie Max geschrieben hat eine Backtrace erstellen würdest.

Da die letzten Ausgaben in deinem Log mit den Waveforms zu tun hat, könntest Du mal ausprobieren ob Mixxx ohne Waveforms startet.

Dazu bitte die folgenden beiden Zeilen zu ~/.mixxx/mixxx.cfg hinzufügen.

Außerdem wäre noch interessant ob unsere neueste Beta Version auch unter diesem Fehler leidet:

Diese Versionen sind jedoch ungetestet und deshalb nicht für dem Live-Einsatz geeignet.

Welche Grafikkarte, welchen Treiber und welche Version von Xubuntu benutzt Du?
