Bug Description

It looks like https://github.com/mixxxdj/mixxx/pull/4229 introduced a bunch of warnings caused by trying to access COs with invalid config keys:

warning [Main] ControlDoublePrivate::getControl returning nullptr for invalid ConfigKey "" , ""

I bisected, but unfortunately some of the commits immediately crash with a debug assertion, so I had to skipping some commits.

    The first bad commit could be any of:

    bebbd6a2e0191b606ad1c1cd8b0048668e1dba45
