bpm tap doesn't update the bpm for tracks with a variable beat grid

Bug Description
When a track was gridded with a variable BPM, pressing the bpm tap button does nothing. I would expect this to re-grid the track with a fixed bpm. It would also be cool if only the section of the track close to the current variable bpm rate was re-gridded and the rest of the track was unchanged, but that's probably out of scope.
