URL bar not updated when clicking on a same-page anchor

Bug Description

If I left click on an anchor, the URL bar doesn't update from
file:///usr/share/doc/postgis-doc/postgis.html to e.g.,
file:///usr/share/doc/postgis-doc/postgis.html#Topology_Constructors
It only updates for such internal anchors opened in another tab (via the right click menu.)
