Bug Description

[ Disclaimer: I am the Debian maintainer of the Midori package. ]

I have been testing Midori compiled against GTK+3 and WebKit 2 on Debian (testing/unstable), and I noticed something really annoying. Whenever I try visiting a URL that cannot be found, or a website that uses a self-signed SSL/TLS certificate, Midori displays a very strange, erroneous page to inform me about what happened. I am attaching a screenshot of the page in this report. I was going to test this on Fedora to confirm, but I haven't gotten the time yet.

I am using Midori 0.5.11, libgtk-3-0 3.16.6-1, and libwebkit2gtk-4.0-37 2.8.5+dfsg1-3.

Tested on Fedora 22, and confirmed.

It seems to me that something is not right when Midori loads the error
webpage. The CSS is not applied, the form button ("Try Again") is
useless, and the worst part is that there is no way to accept a
self-signed SSL/TLS certificate whatsoever.

I tried verifying what can be wrong by debugging the code (especially
the functions on midori-view.c), but so far nothing caught my attention.
