mediawiki overrides default C-\ key binding

Bug Description
I suppose this is a usability bug as mediawiki overrides quite important (as for me) emacs' default key binding C-\. By means of which I can toggle input method. And this is important for me as I require to edit wiki on different languages. For now, with the default mediawiki configuration I need to use M-x toggle-input-method or I need to change this binding in the config file.
