Bug Description
This is a request to Media player app devs rather than an explicit bug report. I noticed MediaPlayer QML component fails to play video files if these don't have an explicit file type extension. If that's the case, this should be fixed. There shouldn't be any limitations with playback from the lower layers without a proper file extension.
