Very long subject expands tool tip past screen

Bug Description
If an e-mail account has a very long subject, the tooltip will display the whole thing instead of truncating the line or splitting it in multiple lines. After the mail with the long subject has been read, the tool tip does not revert to normal size again; it stays expanded past the screen.

Do you mean the notification tooltip thats comes with gnome? This changed with ubuntu since 8.10, perhaps you might try again? I dont have that problem with ubuntu notification (see attached screenshot)
If you mean the tooltip you get after hovering over the icon, i can confirm:
1) get message with very long subject
2) get info by hovering over mail-notification: tooltip spreads over whole screen, does not truncate or split in new line (see attachment hover-long)
3) get "normal" message
4) info still spreads, eventhough a very short message is displayed (hover-short)
