Bug Description
Hi!
Both kernel 2.6.24 and 2.6.27 do not detect the apple usb analog modem.
lsusb:
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 05ac:1401 Apple Computer, Inc.
ls /dev/ttyA*
ls: Zugriff auf /dev/ttyA* nicht moeglich: No such file or directory
I have tested kernel 2.6.24 with an other usb analog modem. That worked.
I have tested it with a sony/ericsson K810 mobile.
ls -lah /dev/ttyA*
crw-rw---- 1 root dialout 166, 0 2008-09-16 19:16 /dev/ttyACM0
crw-rw---- 1 root dialout 166, 1 2008-09-16 19:16 /dev/ttyACM1
With friendly regards,
beauman

This bug was reported against the linux-meta package when it likely should have been reported against the linux package instead. We are automatically transitioning this to the linux kernel package so that the appropriate teams are notified and made aware of this issue. Thanks.
