Bug Description
When working on bug #1234880, I had to set all the HP iLO4 machines in my lab to IPMI_2_0 to get power control to work. I did this when the node enlisted in MAAS. This unfortunately was undone after I selected the node and hit "commission". The IPMI protocol was set back to "auto-detect" which doesn't work on these system.
Roaksoax mentioned something about it being an API oddity that was bulk-setting values that it did not need to.
What I expected to happen, was the setting to remain over the life the machine unless I set it back to auto-detect.
