Bug Description
Performance of scripture display is quite slow, more so when accessing sword modules however still too slow IMHO from database as well. While I have no technical insight on the specifics performance tweaking I would like to request that this area receives attention at some point. Perhaps an entire chapter could be cache into memory so verses load instantly and then there is a short pause when changing chapters?

How slow are you talking about?
ie. what sort of time delay is there.
Can you run the following command and send me the output?
# time diatheke -b KJV -k John 1:1
You may need to change "KJV" to something else if you don't have the
KJV sword module installed.
