Bug Description

  affects loggerhead

It would be nice if Loggerhead would show logo's for revisions that
originated in a foreign VCS.

This should be possible according to the svn and git logo policies as
far as I am aware:

http://subversion.org/legal/trademark-policy.html
http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Git-logo.svg

We'll need to contact Mercurial about using their logo according to
http://www.selenic.com/pipermail/mercurial/2008-October/021875.html

If loggerhead is GPLv2, as I think it is, then that mail seems to give
permission to use it.

Loggerhead is GPLv2, I don't see the issue.

Is Mercurial's logo GPLv2-only or GPLv2+? Loggerhead is the latter, from a couple files I checked. Could that be a problem?

It would prevent someone using loggerhead under GPL3 from using the hg
logo in combination, thats all.
