We talked about this a bit at UDS.

There are two possible causes, one is that the expanded commit message contains a long line that we don't wrap and the other is that the content that is revealed in the expanding area is within the same css box as the commit message.

Fixing the first may be possible somehow, but my head always starts spinning when I think about this sort of thing.

The second should be simpler in someways, though not trivial either.
