I can confirm the fix works.

You'll need to add the following two lines to /etc/apt/sources.list:

deb http://tridex.net/repo/ubuntu/ oneiric main
deb-src http://tridex.net/repo/ubuntu/ oneiric main

And then you'll need to adjust your apt preferences. I adjusted mine to look like the following:

Package: *
Pin: release o=linuxmint
Pin-Priority: 700

Package: *
Pin: origin packages.linuxmint.com
Pin-Priority: 700

Package: *
Pin: release o=Ubuntu
Pin-Priority: 500

Package: *
Pin: origin tridex.net
Pin-Priority: 700
