Bug Description
The opacity option seems to affect the entire menu rather than just the background making the menu invisible beyond a certain level of opacity and unusable long before that depending on screen background. Seems to me the menu background should be on a separate graphical layer to the menu text and only the opacity of the background layer should be changed.

I'm not sure if my menu is having the same issues.
How do we manually 'reset' the menu?
