LMDE2, please add support to install in Btrfs filesystem

CURRENT BEHAVIOR:
Hello, yesterday I want to install LMDE2 in a btrfs partition. In the live environment, if I install btrfs-tools, then I can format a partition with gparted and also with the LMDE2 installer (in partition setup step). The installer let me choose a btrfs partition to use as / (root) mount point.
The problem becomes at the copying files step in the installer, /targer is not properly mounted when a btrfs partition was chosen for / (root). Then the copy of the files is being done inside the "aufs" virtual partition mounted in "/ (root)" in the live environment, and as you can expect, the root partition in the live medium results in no free disk space, and the installer exists with such error. Of course, after this, nothing has been installed in the partition was choose to be root mount point in target.
Please, watch the screenshot I attach to understand better the problem, note that this is a screenshot of success install in an ext4 partition, it is only intended to be as example to see the partitions and mount point being used during installation process.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:
Btrfs is a mature enough filesystem nowadays, it should be possible to install Linux Mint in a btrfs partition. Installation process should properly mount /target if btrfs partition was chosen for root, and installation process should be accomplished as usually.
Please, try to fix this bug.
