touchpad settings don't work

Bug Description

Hi everyone,
I have a problem with the touchpad settings in Linux Mint 17.2. If i switch off "2-fingers tap emulates right click" it just keep emulating the right click (even after reboot).

OS: Linux Mint 17.2 64 bit
Kernel: 3.19
PC: Lenovo g50-30

this issue seems similar to bug #1490344:
"Two-finger click emulation" affects the wrong synclient option

this bug is also similar to bug #1525545: "Mint 17.3 - mouse touchpad does not save settings".
