Bug Description

1) Version & System: Cinnamon Mint 17.1 'Rebecca' (No bug in Cinnamon 17), Cinnamon 64-bit, nvidia driver.
2) How to produce: Problem happens randomly.
3) What happens: Open applications do not react to mouse or keyboard.
4) Expected: Open applications react to mouse or keyboard.
5) Happened: Many times, about once every two days.

Once the bug happens it is impossible to interact with open applications. Panel seems to work all right though. Mouse pointer can be moved around.

To solve the problem:
__Close one of the currently opened applications. The remaining applications now react to mouse and keyboard.
__To avoid losing data in the aplication closed there is another way to solve the problem:
____Click on a panel launcher (Panel reacts to mouse), a Terminal launcher for instance.
____New Terminal window has a blank cursor even when it has focus and does not react to keystrokes.
____Right click on Terminal icon in panel and select 'Close'.
____New Terminal closes and the other applications now react to mouse and keyboard.

Could it be a DBus problem?

I have found another way to solve the problem:
Right click on any (of the open applications') icon in panel and select 'Maximize' or 'Minimize': All applications now react to mouse and keyboard.

It seems that interacting with an application through the panel removes whatever is blocking input from mouse and keyboard.
